Information

Our students enjoy a low student-to-adult ratio at Sacred Heart Catholic School. We know that one size does not fit all when learning, and our small group sizes allow for adaptability and the understanding that learning paces for students are different. 

At Sacred Heart Catholic School, we know that Kindergarten sets the foundation for learning. With this in mind, SHCS fosters a learning atmosphere that utilizes explicit teaching methods and hands-on learning approaches. 

Teachers utilize Superkids and Orton Gillingham programming for English Language Arts and integrate Handwriting Without Tears.  For Math, teachers use the Into Math series by HMH.  

Learning in Kindergarten extends well beyond paper and pencil. At the end of Kindergarten, students are confident in their school surroundings and their approach to learning. We ignite the curious learner in each of our students.
