The School Year is divided into trimesters of 12 weeks each with three reporting periods, one at the end of each 12 weeks.

Standardized Testing

Testing completed annually using TerraNova for students in grades 2-8. 

 

 

Accreditation

Serving the Salisbury Community since 1882, SHCS is accredited through Cognia and the state of North Carolina. The Diocese of Charlotte is the governing authority.

Co-Curricular Activities

SHCS offers spiritual growth through liturgies and prayer services.  Students participate in community service activities on a regular basis. 

 

Arts

The School's performing arts provides theater and choral courses.  The fine arts include instruction in various media. 

 

 

Athletics

Sacred Heart has 11 different teams participate in six different sports. SHCS is a part of the PECSAA conference.
