Sacred Heart welcomes New Teachers!

Sacred Heart welcomes new faculty members this year!
Mrs. Leigh Yelton (3rd grade),
Mr. Shane McCormick (Middle School Science),
Mr. Jason Finnerty (Middle School Social Studies), Mrs. Jana Thomas (Music), and Mr. Banks Fisher (Learning Support).
We are very excited to welcome them to our SHCS family! Now, we have the pleasure of introducing these new faculty members to our parish, neighbors, and community.

Sacred Heart names a NEW PRINCIPAL for 2021-2022

After a national search, we are so excited to announce Mrs. Erin Brinkley as our new SHCS principal starting 2021-2022. We wish our former Principal Tyler Kulp well as he continues in a new principal position at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School in Charlotte, NC. Fire Prevention at SHCS

THANK YOU TO THE KANNAPOLIS FIRE DEPARTMENT for their visit during Fire Prevention Week. Our special visitors included Martha Bostian, who is a Fire & Life Safety Educator, Fire Fighter Captain Travis Barnhardt (father of Wyatt in 2nd grade and Easton in Kindergarten), and Public Fire Educator Lee Goodman. Sacred Heart Spreads Love to Nursing Homes

"The TRUE Measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members." Sacred Heart School had a great St. Patrick's Day by visiting several of our local retirement centers and nursing homes. Their main goal was simple - to spread love and great cheer to our elderly community! Mission Accomplished!

Salisbury NC Lions Club Visits SHCS

Thank You Lions Club for our FREE eye screening day! Our CSW service project resulted in 80 eyeglasses donated to their Recycle for Sight International Program.

Sacred Heart wins $10,000!!

Sacred Heart teachers - Mrs. Hillary Shores and Mrs. Callie Michaels - each won $5000 from by the N.C. Outdoor Heritage Advisory Council.
The $10,000 will support outdoor learning spaces at the school and science, technology, religion, engineering, arts and math programs.

Sacred Heart Serves

Our students LOVE to serve! Members of our Honor Society serve at Rowan Helping Ministries weekly - packing bags of food for needy families in our community!

We are spreading the GOOD NEWS about Catholic Schools. We are open, on campus, and in-person everyday following NC State Covid Protocols. We offer a rigorous academic curriculum, many opportunities for outdoor learning, physical fitness and sports, leadership and virtues classes, and most importantly - in a FAITH filled environment!
